Personality: Helen initially comes off as being very shy and timid, constantly hiding her face behind a book or her DS. However, beyond that is quite a curious girl. She is very studious, dedicated to working hard at all she does with an admirable stubborn determination. She prides herself on attaining good grades and making her parents proud of her, but she is also very modest and never boasts about her accomplishments. She is, however, very stubborn and has a bit of a temper, and tends to think her views are the absolute correct truth. She can be somewhat oblivious to other people's feelings at times, not really being that well versed in interaction with others.

History: Helen herself is a rare modern case in that shes one of the first ancient Pokemon to be naturally born in this era. It was her parents, instead, who had been revived. She was born to two loving, but very religious parents. They were Helixists, who believed in the great Lord Helix who sent his Chosen One, a Pigeot named Jesus, to the world to battle the Evil One, servant of the fallen angel Lord Dome, and die as a sacrifice for the sake of the rest of Pokemanity. Helen was raised with these stories like they were fairy tales. She grew up in a small village, inhabited pretty much entirely by other Omanyte and Omastar, stated to be the descendants of Lord Helix himself, and ruled by the Lady Helix, the current leader of Helixists worldwide. This community sought to be pure by keeping themselves away from the very technology that revived them, where only approved books could be read and every song she learnt was in praise to the Lord Helix.

When she was about five, Lady Helix entrusted her parents to be missionaries and to plant churches around Sinnoh. Moving to Oreburgh was her first experience of the outside world, and she was absolutely fascinated. However, her parents still tried to keep her shielded. They homeschooled her and prohibited her from playing with any of the neighbourhood kids. However, even they eventually got themselves a television, slowly realising that going COMPLETELY technology free was impossible beyond the confines of their safe community. However, before that, her parents bought her books, which she engrossed herself in, the first time she'd read books that weren't about their glorious creator but about dashing heroes and adventures in lands far away.

However, lack of interaction with other children eventually started causing her serious problems, being almost unable to speak to ANYONE outside of her immediate family or the church they'd planted. This was problematic, if she was ever to take after them as missionaries. As such, her mother decided, to her heartbreak, perhaps attending these public schools could be a solution. It was an alien world to Helen, and she was initially petrified, but it only took a few girls her age saying "cool hair" to bring her out of her shell. They introduced her to their favourite tv shows, the internet, and video games.

Her parents, over time, began to grow increasingly frustrated with the teachings at these schools, deeming them "heretical" in these so-called "science" lessons (in spite of their daughter getting very good grades), and disliked her friends thinking they would lead her astray, and kept changing her from school to school, forcing her to repeatedly start over and over again. She was clearly unhappy, something her parents didn't like to see either. So, they decided to make an agreement - Helen said if they could find her a school and let her stay there for good, she would make her first steps into being a missionary to the school. Her parents were thrilled with this plan, and after searching, they found the perfect school... an old, prestiged Arceist Academy called St Mortiel...
